What Residents Say About Watercrest

Hear from the people who call Watercrest home.

I moved here from a sister property as a single mom, sight unseen, from out of state and couldn’t have been luckier! The staff is like family, the neighbors are incredible, and I absolutely love my apartment. Although I was saving for a home after starting over, I’m seriously reconsidering my timeline since I’m no longer in a rush. They are dog-friendly, child friendly, within walking distance to the high school, across the street from two amazing restaurant (and one fast food), and a short drive to nearly anything. There’s even a great neighborhood with a view of the lake that everyone walks in.

Living here is a dream, the property managers - Kiersten, Sierra and Travis are wonderful, such genuine people and are always there to assist for whatever you need. The maintenance team is also super helpful and quick, you submit a request and they get on it sometimes even same day. Beautiful area right by the Burke Gilman and Lake Washington, highly recommend it here. Very relaxing and everyone is really friendly. Also the apartments are spacious and every unit has a deck. Check it out, you won’t want to leave! Thanks, Watercrest team!

Lived here since July 2024 and just submitted to renew. I was in a massive transition time when I moved here and have always been skeptical about renting but I'm very happy I stumbled across Watercrest. Move in process was easy, simple, straightforward. Everything spelled out clearly (and I did read the entire lease). The office staff is courteous, professional, and very friendly. Always fun to visit the office and chat with other residents (though I really visit for the pets). Weidner values positive relationships with owner/tenant and Keirsten and Sierra are a great duo. The same vibe extends to the other residents here too - most people are generally nice and often smile at each other while crossing paths. Maintenance requests are done in a reasonable amount of time. Fortunate to live on the top floor with a fantastic east facing lake view from my balcony. Easy access to Bothell Way, LFP, and 145th to get to Seattle since I commute in. For living on the edge of Lake City, I've never had security concerns about my building or my vehicle. I feel like it's easier to go online and post about what you don't like about something rather than what you like about something. Well, I like this place. Used the apartment gym for a while before getting a membership at a larger gym. The pool is a life saver on hot days (ya know, third floor, heat rises). Most importantly my cat seems pretty happy here. Thanks Watercrest staff for making home feel like a place I like coming home to.
